Overview

The tank has creek sand 0.5 metre deep so that salt water from the throughflow and static water zone can drain into the holes in the bottom of the tank. A small diaphragm pump is proving suitable for 40 centimetres of accumulation of salt water disposal - this type of pump won't burn out if it runs dry.
