Property of LG (Laurie) and PE (Pat) Adamson, 'Sunny Brae', Dangin, Western Australia, Australia - 013

Overview

This excavated interceptor ditch 200 metres long was sealed and a perforated pipe laid in front of the plastic sheet, to collect 3 throughflows coming in from the neighbours paddock. The 1,000 gallon tank is designed to catch any small quantities of water. It is also designed to pick up water in the cut off throughflow and static water that is visible behind the gravel heap. The hole is half full of creek sand. This image is part of the WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Land Treatment Society Incorporated) Collection.
