Homestead Toaster
c. 1970A metal toaster with two black bakerlite handles on each side. The base of toaster is metal which has been painted black. There are vents on the top of the toaster.
The handles on the toaster are pulled towards up to lower the side of the toaster, so that bread can be put in or toast removed.

Etched on each side of the toaster is "HOMESTEAD".
On the base of the stand of the toaster is etched "N/24/A", underneath is "240 VOLTS 550 W" and on the opposite side is "TO REPLACE ELEMTN REMOVE SCREW ABOVE PLUG SOCKET".
