Overview

Two General Meetings were held in 1970.

The proceedings for the Annual General Meeting on 5th March included:

Management reports
Election of Office Bearers and Councillors
Motions to:

Honour the founders by introducing a perpetual trophy with a 36 hole golf event each season
Create categories for non-playing and country members

Various general business

The Special General Meeting on 13th August agenda addressed:

Constitutional change to alter the minimum alcohol service age to 18
Various general business

The minutes have been scanned from the hardcopy book covering the period 1967 to 1985 (Item 2023.94).
