British Mark 4 with Lane Sights
The .303 rifle with serial number PF17036 is most likely a Lee-Enfield No4 Mk2 rifle manufactured at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Fazakerley, Liverpool, after World War II. The “PF” prefix in the serial number is characteristic of postwar production rifles from Fazakerley, specifically the No4 Mk2 model, which used this prefix followed by a five-digit sequence.
