Overview

The New Testament of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Translated out of the original Greek and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by her Majesty's Command. Appointed to be read in Churches. At back of book The Book of Psalms translated out of the original Hebrew and with translations diligently compared and revised. On front end paper is stamp 'L.M. Watkins, Binder, St. Johns Square'and in writing 'in presant (sic) from W. Lafor Cheff Meate = on of the James Parish (sic) Febury (sic) 24th 1834. Mrs Robertson'. On front fly leaf 'Mrs Powney' from Robert Stephens. On end fly leaf 'Robert Stephens' and 'Mrs Powney, Albany' written in ink.
