1887Cover letter dated 20 July 1887 from Malcolm Fraser, Colonial Secretary in Perth about an accompanying Letters Patent (OCHLM 1976.61) pertaining to the Queen’s Council appointment of Septimus Burt.
Letter handwritten on single sheet of cream paper using official printed stationary from the Western Australian Colonial Secretary's Office, Perth dating from the 1880s (as evident from the printed portion of the date). The paper is folded vertically in half and the letter is written on the front page only.
The signature at the bottom of the letter is in different to ink that of the main body of the letter.
