Firmin and Sons Limited, London, button, badge and military regalia manufacturers and merchants established in 1655. The company has supplied every British monarch since Charles II. Firmin & Sons (Samuel Firmin, Grandson of founder, Thomas Firmin) moved the business to 153 strand after 1754, Firmin & Sons became a Limited Company in 1875 and subsequently had Ltd included in the Makers Mark. This information dates manufacture of this item to be between 1754 and 1875.
