CLUB COMMUNICATION - PRESIDENT'S HALF YEARLY UPDATE JULY 2026

President Matt Thomas provided this update on the club's status in July 2026. The topics he addressed included:

- The appointment of a new General Manager, Fiza Errington, in March and a list of some of the initiatives she has introduced

- The appointment of a new Accounts Manager, Deborah Oh, and a new Golf Operations and Marketing Coordinator, Ashleigh Day

- Chef Terence Tay's 'outstanding meals' with the assistance of three young chefs

- Bar Manager Jett Gartner supported by Carla and Angie continue their good service

- Course Superintendent Dane McBride and his team producing 'an exceptional golf experience'

- All club membership categories reaching full capacity with a total of 1329 including encouraging growth in the 26-35 age bracket

- The use of artificial intelligence to isolate unfair practices in the golf booking system and the development of a 'late withdrawal policy'

- A progress report on a revised clubhouse renovation plan
