The Institute is decorated with flags of several different nations. A small girl is sitting on a seat in the left foreground and some spectators are shown to the right behind the band.
This is one of a number of photographs featuring City of Subiaco celebrations in 1952. The status of the Subiaco Council changed to City of Subiaco.
