Overview

The photograph shows cars driving down Rokeby Road as part of the Celebration parade. The cars are decorated with banners and flags. The banner on the side of the front car reads 'SMART and SPEEDY'. Crowds line both sides of the street. Bunting and flags are draped across the shopfronts.

This is one of a number of photographs featuring City of Subiaco celebrations in 1952. The status of the Subiaco Council changed to City of Subiaco.
