1919Sepia. Baker House on the corner of Parry Street and Perth-Fremantle Road Claremont.
Brick house with verandahs and tin roof. White picket fence with hedge in front. Palms and eucalypts in front garden. High fence, probably a tennis court at side.
Built 1906-7.
Sold to Freecorns 1919.
First home of the Parry family
All Parry children born there.
The Perth-Fremantle Road was renamed Stirling Highway in 1931 after the first Governor of Western Australia, Admiral Sir James Stirling.
