At the top of the invoice handwritten in black ink is "Mr J C Warren", the title of the business is printed in blue ink which is "Katanning Stock & Trading Co., Ltd." and below this is "Timber and Hardware Merchants, AUCTIONEERS, LAND AND COMMISSION AGENTS, &C." and below this is written "Stock Sales Held Monthly. Private Sales by Arrangement. BANK RATE OF INTEREST WILL BE CHARGED ON ALL ACCOUNTS OUTSTANDING".

In the top right hand corner of the invoice is stamped in purple ink "1 APR 1924".
