There are many young ladies in long dance dresses, some with floral corsages. Three men in dinner suits stand close to a microphone, two other men stand at the right hand side, one in naval uniform(?) The Ball was held in the Embassy Ballroom in Perth. The fund raising ball was attended by many Australian Chinese, including Subiaco resident, Oswald Lums.
