Overview

Coloured photograph showing two men carrying a green frame with ropes out of the Fallen Soldiers War Memorial Clock Tower. Both men have brunette hair and short beards and are smiling for the photograph. The man at the top of the stairs wears a white T-shirt with the Arnott's logo advertising the 'Kingston' biscuit and blue jeans. The second man wears a khaki green shirt will rolled sleeves, blue jeans and white sneakers with three diagonal blue stripes. Two rectangular panels with the names of fallen soldiers are placed on either side of the open doorway.

Reverse: Label written in pen 'Dismantling the Subiaco Memorial Clock for repairs February 1983'

Historical information

The Subiaco Fallen Soldiers' Memorial was dedicated on 25 November 1923 by Governor of Western Australia, Sir Francis Newdegate.
