Overview

Coloured photograph featuring a chute or pulley in the Soldiers War Memorial Clock Tower. A length of cable can be seen suspended through a rectangular hole. The void is framed by wood and has two thinner wooden planks comprising the top and bottom of the frame and very thick wood that is much wider holding the left and right side of the frame.

Reverse: Label written in pen 'Feb. 1983 Repair to the Subiaco Clock Tower was done when the clock was dismantled for repair.'

Historical information

The Subiaco Fallen Soldiers' Memorial was dedicated on 25 November 1923 by Governor of Western Australia, Sir Francis Newdegate.
