Overview

These black and white photographs are part of a series taken of the working bees that were undertaken by members to develop the course prior to the club's opening in 1969.

Titled "Getting to Know Each Other" this picture shows several volunteers enjoying a drink after working on the new golf course.

The first picture appears to be a digital photograph taken directly from the collage of the working bee days that is displayed in the hallway near the administration office. The quality of this image is affected by the glass covering the collage.

The second and third, scanned (high quality 600dpi resolution) pictures are taken from an album of hardcopy photographs (Item 2022.343) believed to have been donated by Laurie and Dawn Johnston. These versions show slightly different views to the first picture.
