Image: The original black and white photograph shows four rows of children, Mary Weeden sitting in the middle of the very front row of girls. She holds a small blackboard with the class number chalked on it. Behind her is a row of boys seated on a bench, a row of girls standing behind them, and a further row of boys standing on a bench behind the girls. Flower pots can be seen on the windowsills above the children. A large tub with a plant in it has been placed at either side of the group - the same photographic setting as 1985.204
