WEBB, A. J. (Jim)

Jim Webb was recommended to take over position of Greenkeeper after Ted Doggett resigned on 23/9/1972. It is not clear whether this recommendation was implemented on that date. However, later Jim "came out of retirement" to assist with machinery maintenance in 1977. This implied that he did serve in some capacity. It has thus been assumed that he filled the role of Greenkeeper for the period 1972-1974.
