Betty was appointed as the Bar Manageress on the 20th April 1970.

The picture attachment dated 1977 in Newsletter November 2001 is believed to show Betty (left) with other bar managers Audrey Bowers (middle) and Pat Urquhart (right).

Council of Management minutes record that Betty resigned in April 1979.
