BRIDGE IN AFTERMATH OF FLOOD
1934Black and white photo. A railway bridge with crossed timber pylons (7 visible). Large amounts of debris are collected around the base of the pylons and a timber/steel rod is resting vertically against the bridge also covered in debris (suggest the photo is post flood) A man with a walking stick is walking across the bridge away from the camera. A bicycle lies on its side to the left of the bridge on the embankment.Signs of major erosion in the foreground.
Writing on reverse of photo reads: "Big Bridge at Bottom/Brockmans Bank/1/2 Mile from Mill Farm/Toodyay 1934 Floods. This bridge still in use where new line from West Toodyay- Miling runs. Steel cement bridge just out West Toodyay and then this one."
