Cream hard cover with dark green spine, front cover has black & white photograph of Victorian recruits marching along Marine Drive, with transport fleet in the backgound October 1914. Back cover has photographs of view over Albany and Princess Royal Harbour from Mt Melville c1910, and Victorian troops on Deepwater Jetty returning to ship after their march through Albany. End papers have Extracts from the Convoy Naval Orders (Appendix 16 from Vol. IX of the Official History of Australia in the War of 1914-1918- c Australian War Memorial) 64 pages, illustrations in black & white, sepia, and colour. Diary exerpts from the 28th and 31st December 1914 entries of Private Herbert Vincent Reynolds. Acknowledgements, references, and bibliography.
