Inscriptions and markings

on the tyre shape head has risen print of "DUNLOP" with a "BS" in an emblem - this same print is on both sides of the head. Handle has a yellow sticker partly worn with red print of 'WITH COMPLIMENTS FROM CAMPBELL'S GARAGE - ONGERUP , PHONE: 17"

Contextual information

This bottle opener was a promotional gift from Campbell's Garage Ongerup. Mr Jim Campbell owned & ran a very successful Garage and machinery sale business in Ongerup in the 1950's to 1980's. His garage was owned by a few people after Mr Campbell but it was never a machinery sale business any more, so one of the lost memories of the town of Ongerup.
