Rectangular brass plaque with chamfered edges and engraved with words 'SUBIACO PAVILION / WAS OFFICIALLY OPENED / BY / MR. R.V. DIGGINS J.P. / MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SUBIACO / ON / THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11th, 1982'. The engraved words have white paint in them. On the bottom RH corner is ' WILSONS ENGRAVNG WORKS'. There are four screw holes, one in each corner. There is some scratching around the holes from the screws. There is some white paint on all four edges to varying degrees. The reverse has traces green paint and white paint around edges and some spattering, also some insect dirt. There are also two etched holes (accidental?).The plaque was situated at the entrance to the markets on the corner of Rokeby Road and Hay Street.
