TOY: FABRIC ELEPHANT, OLIVE
Stuffed toy elephant. Likely handmade.
The elephant is made from an olive green velour/velveteen type fabric that has been stitched and stuffed. There are four round stump legs, a long tail and two round ears. The elephants eyes are made from brown/green buttons that have a gold glitter streak through them. The toy is stuffed with hard fabric or stuffing.
The toy was handmade by Alexander Douglas Sedgwick, for his son George Douglas, in his shed at 50 Bedford Street, Subiaco.
