The Kodak Brownie Safelight Lamp was a popular, inexpensive, electric darkroom safety light produced by Eastman Kodak starting around 1918. It used interchangeable colored filters (typically Wratten Series 2 or OA) to illuminate darkrooms without ruining photographic paper or orthochromatic film.
