A coloured photograph showing passengers crossing a bridge to board the Cheynes IV Whale Chaser ship at Albany's Historic Whaling Station.
The ship was owned by Cheynes Beach Whaling Co P/L, Albany and built in Norway by A.S.Frammers Norway in 1948.
Reverse: Has label 'Visit to Albany Shire by Deputy Mayor Helen Passmore, Councillor Stokes, Councillor Wells and Town Clerk Mr J F R McGeough, June 1986.'
