Overview

A coloured photograph showing a side view of the heritage listed Irwin Street Building at the University of Western Australia, Crawley Campus. The weatherboard construction, federation style veranda and decorative timber fretwork are prominent. The building is a T-shaped jarrah building constructed in 1913-1914 and was originally part of a group of university buildings situated between Hay Street and St Georges Terrace. The ground of James Oval is visible out the front of the building. There is an orange date stamp on the bottom right '16 11 '88.'
Reverse: Has label 'Subiaco Awards 1988', 'Commendation,' 'Irwin Street Building, University of Western Australia, November 1988.'
Has handwritten label: 'Neg 22.'
