COMPASS AND LEATHER POUCH
Brass compass with removable lid and leather pouch for storage.
a) Compass: Sight folds over face of compass, smaller sight folds out and under is a brass attachment possibly for attaching to a belt. Working face is green card and markings are mirror image with a brass centre piece. Lid has two cut outs for sights
b) Pouch has flat bottom and round top. Machine stitched leather strap attached to hold lid shut. Body of pouch cover is all in one piece and opens one way to the side. Has scratched on front of pouch "1/2 too much" Strap has 2 loops.

Donated to Shire of Toodyay for the new Old Gaol Musuem by Miss May Hall in 1961.
