Inside is a list of police officers including aboriginal assistants who have died in the line of service from 1834 to 2004. The memorial service took place at Police Pools, Katanning.

On the cover of the pamphlet is a wreath overlaid with a five point start and in the centre of the star is a circle, inside of the circle is a shield, a kangaroo either side and in the centre of the shield is a black swan. Underneath the shield is a scroll with the words "PROTECT AND SERVE". On the fifth point of the start is a black scroll with the word "POLICE" in white. At the top of the start is a crown and underneath the crown is a black scroll with the letters "WA" in white.
