Inscriptions and markings

On the cover of the pamphlet is a wreath overlaid with a five point start and in the centre of the star is a circle, inside of the circle is a shield, a kangaroo either side and in the centre of the shield is a black swan. Underneath the shield is a scroll with the words "PROTECT AND SERVE". On the fifth point of the start is a black scroll with the word "POLICE" in white. At the top of the start is a crown and underneath the crown is a black scroll with the letters "WA" in white.
