This note was written by Arthur H. du Boulay (1843-1922) who arrived in the colony in 1852. He managed his cousin Julius du Boulay's station "Minnenooka."

This is the only note written by Arthur du Boulay in the Maley Mill & Store Archives. It is also important as an early indicator of the practice of pastoralists using Aboriginal names for locations.
