The plaque reads:

By His Excellency The Governor

Lieutenant General John Sanderson A.C.

The plaque is mounted in a gold coloured, metal frame with the gold lettering engraved on a plastic board that has a dark brown woodgrain pattern. This design closely matches the club opening plaque Item 2022.170.
