There are fourteen pages in the booklet and it discusses the use of producer gas for all types of road transport vehicles and tractors.

In the top right hand corner in black print is "Pamphlet No. 4 1940" and at the bottom of the cover is "New South Wales Forestry Commission Division of wood Technology 96 Harrington Street, Sydney *45981".
Over the tree in the circle is "NSW Forest Service" and around the edge of the circle is "FORESTRY COMMISSION OF N.S.W."
At the top right hand corner of the booklet handwritten in pencil is "W. Blackall".
