PROBUS TABLE CLOTH
A cream coloured, square tablecloth with a scalloped edge.
One corner has embroidered red text reading [ARMADALE LADIES' PROBUS CLUB] which forms a circle. In the middle of the text there are three strips of velcro arranged into a triangle.
The logo consists of a circular piece of red cloth with a thick golden border and letter P. The word [PROBUS] is below the P in the border and is also golden. The word has been curved slightly to match the curvature of the circle.
Velcro has been attached to the underside that matches the triangle shape on the tablecloth.
Probus clubs are clubs for retired or semi-retired business or professional people. The movement operates worldwide, in some places Rotary Clubs sponsor Probus Clubs, but many clubs are stand-alone entities. Armadale Probus Club ran from 1987 to 2013, holding their meetings on the third Monday of every month, with outings on the fourth Monday of the month.
