Inscriptions and markings

At the top of the letter is a circle with a rabbit in the centre, underneath is the word "PROOF" . Around the rabbit is "COLONIAL MADE WIRE NETTING SYDNEY N.S.W."

The letter head in brown italic printed lettering is "St. John's Galvanised Black Wire Netting Works.", underneath is "PARRAMATTA RIVER."
