Mrs Jean Howl (nee Lander) was interviewed by Donna Moore on 16 March 1984. Born in Kalgoorlie on 22 July 1900, moved to Subiaco 1914. Recollections of Kalgoorlie, the War, Hay Street shop, work in Albany, Bill's Tea Rooms, special family events. Mrs Howl is the sister of Mrs Eulie Broome (1986.303), Mrs Trifie Day (1986.307) and Mrs Jess Winch (1986.338)
