Gambrel
c. 1878A bow shaped hand carved wooden gambrel with a wide groove in the centre. The ends taper downwards towards the ends which are carved into a hook.
The gambrel was used for hanging slaughtered sheep.

On one side of the gambrel is carved "H*K", "1878" and on the other side is carved "AUG", "UST *7".
