1916986 Corporal Frederick George Golding with wife and children
Born in Perth in 1887, Frederick George Golding was one of 11 children and raised in Maylands. He was 29 and a blacksmith when he enlisted with the 3rd Railway Corps in 1916, departing Fremantle in early 1917. He arrived in France in May and served until returning to Australia in January 1919.
He is pictured here with his wife, Afera, and two children.
