1988First of two colour photographs of Humes' last job before closing. The image is of a large, cylindrical pressure vessel built by Steel Mains, Subiaco. The vessel is silver in colour and hanging from a girder in a large warehouse. There is water on the floor of the warehouse reflecting the vessel in the foreground, and a bell crane to the left of the image.
Reverse: 'Steel Mains/Last Job/1988/March' handwritten in black ink.
This was their last job before closing down. Some moved to Kwinana with a different company, Tubemakers of Australia.
