c. 1989Colour photograph of the resurfacing of Rokeby Road. A mound of yellow sand can be seen in the bottom right of the image, with a plastic orange safety fence separating the footpath from the roadworks on both sides of the road.
The image was taken looking down Rokeby Road in a northerly direction, with Friendlies Chemist to the right, and further down the road the former Commerical Bank Building. In the background the Subiaco Hotel can be seen painted in dark green.
