A white letter with black typed letter. There is a series of drawings of buildings(F & C PIesse Building, Flour Mill, Piesse's 1903 Building; building in Kalgoorlie) and vineyards at the top of the letter forming a significant letter head.

Historical information

The letter is addressed to J.C. Warren informing him that Frederick Piesse is going to donate money to the building of Rockwell Hall and offering to check land details when he is in Perth. At the time Frederick Piesse was a member of the Western Australian Parliament for the Katanning district. The letter shows that the business was operating in Katanning, Kalgoorlie and Perth.

At the top of the letter above the drawings in black lettering is "TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS - 'PRIMUS', KATANNING CODE USED - A1 AND A.B.C. 5TH EDITION". iN THE CENTRE IS "MEMO FROM F . & C. PIESSE.". Below this line in a dark ribbon scroll in white typed lettering is "MERCHANTS, MILLERS."
Underneath the drawing of the vineyard in black typed lettering is "Vignerons, Orchardists & Commission Agents."
