Commemorative Coronation Cup for King George & Queen Mary 1911
1910A white cup with a gold band around lip, fine green line underneath it. On the front is a picture of Queen Mary and King George with the Royal Coat of Arms in between them with the Crown on top, Lion and Unicorn rampant, thistle and roses underneath. Underneath the pictures is a blue and gold ribbon scroll and at the very bottom of the cup is another blue ribbon scroll. On the back of the cup is a picture of Rogers' Central Store in Katanning in brown, there are eleven people standing in front of the store. The handle has an embossed gold slash decoration.
These cups were given to all the school children in the district at the time of the Coronation by Wm J Rogers - Katanning. At that time Rogers store was in Clive Street, Katanning.

In the blue ribbon scroll under the picture in black lettering is "LONG MAY THEY REIGN" and in the bottom ribbon scroll is "JUNE 22ND - CROWNED - 1911" and below this ribbon scroll in black lettering is "QUEEN MARY KING GEORGE"
On the back of the cup at the top is "ROGERS' CENTRAL STORE" and below the picture is "Wm J. ROGERS KATANNING W.A.".
On the base of the cup is a circular trademark with a star within the circle and a bar across the centre. In the outer circle is "STOKE-ON-TRENT" and below the bar is "STAFFORDSHIRE". In the bar is "TRADE MARK". In the centre of the star is a "C" and "BROS" in the centre of the "C". Underneath the logon is "ENGLAND 3"
