Midland Junction Hotel.

The hotel was built in 1894 for George Hiscox. Proprietor of the hotel at the time of the photograph was Pat Smith. The hotel was located at 52 Commercial Road (later 52 Great Eastern Highway when road name changed). Six months after this photograph the licence for the hotel was revoked by the Licenses Reduction Board in accordance with the amended licensing act of 1921.

Hotel is associated with the growth of Midland in the 19th and 20th centuries. Building no longer exists.
