Coin, 1797
Large copper coin, scratched and dented. Front shows an image of Britannia with her trident and shield with the union flag, she is also holding an olive branch. In very small letters under her shield is the word SOHO. On her left, near her feet is a small ship. There is a raised rim which has " BRITANNIA" on the top and "1797" on the bottom. On the back is and image of King George III in Roman style wearing a toga and a wreath on his head. The raised rim has "GEORGIUS III . D:G . REX" written on it.
