There is a verandah with a tiled roof supported by decorated wooden beams. The number '213' is seen on the wooden beam in the middle of the image. There are bushes in front of the house. There are stairs leading up to the main entrance. The main entrance is painted white. There are trees behind the house to the left in the image.

Reverse: Written on the reverse in blue pen '213 TOWNSHEND'. Written in pencil but crossed over with blue pen, '213 HAMERSLEY' and written in pencil '(IT CAN'T BE HAMMERSLEY! TO BE CHECKED)'
