Overview

Image: A black and white photograph of two Brisbane and Wunderlich floats, for participation in the parade celebrating Subiaco becoming a city. The float to the right of the image is a large display, mounted on the back of a truck/ute. The display depicts a town crier declaring 'Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Subiaco Proclaimed a City'. A cut out of a cityscape is seen to the right of the crier, as well as a City of Subiaco seal. Below the display, a sign reading: Advance City of Subiaco' is seen. The float to the left of the image features a display of glass doors. A sign above the doors reads:
'Our young city
A home of age-old industry'
