Historical information

Taken from a conversation with Tricia in 2021:

Tricia was asked to create an artwork which reflected a 'history of Subiaco'. She researched Subiaco, Daglish and Jolimont and came up the idea to use old photos with the faces of children and her trademark 'arty brellas' (the umbrellas).

Additional information from Kevin Jackson 2022: In order to get approval for an extension to his property at 103 Rowland Road he was required to arrange a piece of public art. Tricia Stedman was approached and with the help of Subiaco Primary School students created this piece.
