Sepia photograph of Commercial Bank of Australia, corner of 94 Rokeby Road and Perth Street, now Churchill Avenue. Two storey solid stone building with classical parapet at top of façade. Romanesque arched doorway on corner. Appears to have extension along Churchill Avenue. Six men and a child are grouped on the footpath at the corner. One man wears a long white apron. A horse and cart stand close to a trimmed street tree on the corner. The street appears to be unsealed.Telephone and power lines on L side of image, passing in front of Rokeby Road frontage of building. The open cart has J T Guy Produce Merchant , Subiaco, Phone 1817 on the side

Historical information

The bank, now used as shops and offices, has been extended along the Rokeby Road frontage.
