The cap celebrates the pilgramage taken by Jon Groves to retrace the steps of, and pay respect to, his grandfather George Groves and George's mates who fought in World War I.

Cap features the wording "Le Tour de Teddy 2018" embroidered in white underneath a white cotton badge with a red square in the centre, on the front of the crown. An Australian flag embroidered badge is on the rear of the crown and embroidered white circles surrounding a white symbol are on either side of the crown.
The item has a strong association with a family of importance in the working and industrial history of the Midland area.
