Historical information

The marble foundation stone for the Masonic Hall was laid on 2 February 1903 by Dr J W Hackett, MLC, Grand Master. The building was designed by architect E Rindley and built by contractor W E Rossiter. It has been used as the meeting place of The Lodge of Friendship No 17 of the Grand Lodge of Western Australia of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.
